XboxGameZone in association with Gaming4others are hosting a pan European Rainbow Six Vegas 2 charity tourney, where not only your team could win prizes, but also help raise money for the registered charity National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC).
PRESS RELEASE:
Bristol, England 20th March 2008 - XboxGameZone in association with Gaming4others are pleased to announce the first ever European charity gaming tournament to be held across Xbox LIVE. The event which takes place on Ubisoft's newly released Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 will invite players and teams from across Europe to test their skills as they go head to head. But this time it's not just about the winning. Teams will be competing against each other to help raise money for Children's Charity NSPCC, have some fun and maybe even win some prizes along the way.
The first of its kind this event sees huge support from the community, Ubisoft and Xbox. It's thanks to this support we are able to offer prizes not only for the winning team but every player will be in with a chance to win prizes including Official Limited Edition coloured Xbox360 controllers, Halo 3 presentation boxes and more.
"We are thrilled to be working with XboxGameZone to raise money for Children's Charities. Gamers are truly a very giving group of people as we have seen in past tournaments at Gaming4Others..." said Nori Grismore of Gaming4Others "We hope to collaborate more in future!"
Registration to the tournament opens Monday 31st March for 2 weeks before closing at midnight (GMT) Monday April 14th 2008. To participate in the event teams will be required to make a minimum one off donation of £20/ Euro 30. All funds raised from the event will go directly to the nominated children's charity.
