It seems the World's largest publisher has money to burn as it looks likely that we'll see another Call of Duty game next year according to the company's finacial outlook for 2010. Although it seems likely that Treyarch will take up the challenge considering they did a grand job with Call of Duty World At War.
However, the big question mark hovers over the series now because where are we likely to go considering WWII has been well trodden? Many suspect we'll see the Vietnam war covered but it's anyone's guess as to where a new game setting will take place. Will the game continue the modern theme and offer controversy covering The Gulf War for example, or has the trenches and magnitude of WWII not been fully explored yet? The clock is ticking, and we'll no doubt find out soon enough.
