GTA IV: The Ballad of Gay Tony look set to take you to heady heights as teams can now press RB and head to the top of the highest sckyscrapers of Liberty City and competitively jump to the ground below in the base jumping side game. What's more the activity will feature stat tracking for those of you who take tumbling to the ground seriously.

The game mode will track the amount of time it takes you to reach the ground and if you bump and grind a building you'll be disqualified or worse! naturally those players who take the most risks will reap the rewards but at what cost?
Sounds like good clean fun, although maybe not for street cleaners should you fail to press A and open your chute at early enough. The game's worldwide stat tracking sound good as you play co-op multiplayer and vie for the best overall time out of 9 jumps. What more could you ask for in this game of death with no bullets or blades involved. Although we're lying as blades can be used to take out opponents, that is the rotor blades from helicopters. We won't spoil the fun so you'll have to work it out yourselves. There's a lot more fun you can have with base jumping, just remember it's exclusive to the forthcoming Ballad of Gay Tony downloadable content for GTA IV. Now if you've not seen the base jumping trailer yet, then head on over here and take a look. Vertigo sufferers need not apply.
GTA IV: The Ballad of Gay Tony and Episodes from Liberty City will arrive on Xbox 360 on the 29th October.
