Msxbox-world.com have teamed up with 2K Games and Microsoft to bring you an exclusive Borderlands competition in the run up to the game's release this weekend (23rd October 2009). We have some fantastic prizes up for grabs and all you need to do is get your creative juices flowing in line with the wasteland theme of the game. There are two ways in which you can try and win so get creative.
This competition is open to UK residents only - CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRY TUES 27th OCTOBER 2009
THE PRIZES:
We have three sets of these prizes to give away to three creative winners. Each winner will receive the following:
· A sweet Borderlands T-shirt (colour: Post-apocalyptic Burgundy)
· A vintage–style cap with the Borderlands logo on (colour: Desolate Wasteland Browny-grey)
· A Borderlands notebook with artwork on the front
· A set of temporary tattoos featuring Borderlands characters, enemies, art and more!
· A set of holographic Borderlands character cards
· A wicked hiking mug thing – like a mug but made of steel and it has the Borderlands logo on. The best bit is that the handle is a carabiner instead of a normal handle
so you can clip it onto your dune buggy when you’re racing through the badlands/ chasing mutants/ escaping from the Thunderdome/ sitting at home playing Borderlands. (colour: Scavenged Scraps of Metal Silver)
· A cool messenger bag with the Borderlands logo on. (colour: Savage Mutant Blood Green)
Simply choose one of the following and get creative. Don't worry you don't have to do both unless you are really that keen.
WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO CHOICE A
If you've got a keen eye and a camera then what we'd like to see from you is a photo (preferably with you in it) of the most 'Junk' item you can find, whether that be a pile of old tyres to you atop a rusty burnt out car at a junk-yard. You decide, get out there and see what you can find.
WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO CHOICE B
If you've go a creative streak then we'd love for you to write a short, amusing quest story to do with Borderlands, and the most interesting and humorous narrative being the more favourable. If you're really flowing then perhaps you could merge your story with your day to day life. E.g. Waking up late morning as usual, I go to make my regular coffee and find an assortment of strange looking weapons set against the wall...
Most convincing, authentic and imaginative stories please.
