Gameplay:
Basically this game has everything there is in the football world of management. Transfer wrangles, contract disputes, misbehaving players, impatient chairmen, newspaper rumours, dodgy refereeing decision. You name it and it is probably there in the game. The list goes on and on.

There is so much detail it is mind-boggling. The game caters for all levels. From the absolute beginner to the genius we think we all are. There are so many different leagues to choose from....you just don't know where to start!! Something like this review!!

The controls are very simple and the game runs at your pace, so there is no need to worry about missing anything as you can always go back and take a look at those vital stats or news.

For anyone who has never played a football management game, this game might be overwhelming, but you soon get used to it and start to move around the screens as quickly as turning on your X-Box.

Graphics:
Anyone new to the Championship Manager thing will take one look at the screenshots and think, "What Graphics!!? This isn't what X-Box should be about, Where's the appeal?"

The game is a stats haven and the screens are pleasent enough to look at and read. This is not like any of the other football management games you would find on the market where you can actually watch the game. This game doesn't want to fool you by showing the same clips over and over again but with two different team names. No, in this game you get commentary and let your imagination do the rest.

Sound:
Sound.....again this is purely a stats game and it is not that hard to create a sound for a crowd going wild when you score. Of course, you only get the interactive crowd sounds when you play the match on Slow or Very Slow speeds. Any other speed will give you just a dull continuous noise and my advice to you is either have a tv on in the background or your stereo playing that CD you haven't listened to in ages because you haven't had time since buying the X-Box!!

Longevity:
This game is never-ending. There is no happy ending where you get to see all the credits roll down the screen with fancy music. This game ends when you give up!!

Since you can start with any team in any league...the game is endless!! This game is a football addicts dream and will last until they bring out a better, newer and improved version where the commentary is verbal and not text. In other words, this game is worth every penny you spend on it, unless of course you don't like football.

Overall, If you love to be in control of a football team, then this is the ultimate game for that. It's the World Cup, Premier League and Champions League all rolled up into one game. It's that good!!
