MotoGP 2 Ultimate Racing Technology Review:

Ever since I played the Moto GP online demo I couldn't wait to get my hands on the sequel and it's finally here, was it worth the wait? Hell yea!

Gameplay:
The gameplay is pretty much like the original game but this one is more realistic. Right off the bat when you start the campaign mode you'll notice that you can customize your bike as much as you want ranging from the bike type to putting your own created logos on your bike. There are tons of unlockables and secrets in the game including mini games, highlight videos from each track, new riders, etc. The training mode is the most in-depth training mode in any game ever, it teaches you skills such as 360 turning, cornering, powersliding, and anything else you can think of that has to do with motorcycle racing. The realism might be annoying at first because its hard but when you boost up your bike and start to get good at this game the realism will make the game so much more fun. I also noticed that its a little harder to make other players crash on xbox live but its still so fun to see them go down then yell at you through the mike. I thought no racing game could get better than the first Moto GP but Climax has topped their own creation and I don't think anyone could catch up to them, well not until Project Gotham Racing 2.

Graphics:
The problem with the graphics in this game is not that it's not good, it's that the bikes are pretty small so Climax can't show off the beautiful graphics. But when you do get a good look at the bikes you'll notice that the reflections are tremendous but there are a lot of games that have tremendous reflections. The best looking part of this game is the weather, when it's sunny you see lots of reflection on your bike and when it's raining rain drops fall on your wind shield. The tracks also resemble their real life tracks to the last tree, it's amazing how Climax did the tracks. Throughout the race your bike will also get dirt on it which looks better than the dirt on Rallisport Challenge but the only bad part is I didn't notice any dents on the bike. At first glance Moto GP 1 looks alot like it's sequel but when you actually compare the different games side by side you could tell Climax upgraded the graphics as much as they can!

Sound:
The tracks in this game are great if you love rock music... which I don't but thankfully Climax included the custom soundtrack option so now anyone with any type of taste in music could blast up the volume and listen to their favourite songs. The sound effects are cool too like when your racing beside the crowd you could hear them yelling and cheering. When your going 150 MPH then make a quick turn you will hear a big long screech. It don't get no better than this!

Longevity:
This is a must buy for any racing fan or Live user. Renting this game will only get you through the training part of the game which is fun but the real fun in this game is when you get really good and battle the best of the best on Xbox Live. This game should be in every Xbox collection, just try it and you'll be hooked on it. The campaign mode is pretty much endless and the game is Xbox Live compatible which equals hours of non stop fun! Also you could customize your bike as much as you want so thought the campaign you'll probably go back into the bike editor and add new logos to it or get new colors for it.

Round Up:
With all the customization, online options, in depth campaign mode, and mini games I don't know how anyone could give this game anything lower than a 9. This game isn't the perfect racing game but it is the best and most fun racing game I ever played which is mainly because it is on Xbox Live. This game will keep you entertained for years to come mainly because of its customization and online play.
