SEGA GT 2002 Review:

Graphics

The graphics of the game are very good, not to say amazing! The car models are almost perfect. The creators of the game should have work more on the off-track objects. There's no damage, it's not that important but almost all the racing games have it now, so it would've been good to have it. If you look for a game with great graphics, I really suggest this game.

Controls

The controls just ok. You can choose between four preset controls type. What I miss is that you cant put each function on the button you want to. You need to go with what's in the presets. What I love, is that you will clearly see a huge difference between a cheap car and a good car. If you drive a cheap one, the car will slide away often. On the other hand, if you take a good one, the control will be incredible. The tires your car have and the damage they have will also effect the driving.

Sounds

The sound of each cars is pretty nice to hear. Each car has it's own sound, and you can see the difference between each car easily. You can also hear a slight whistling sound when your car has a turbo equipped on it. I really love that sound. The game music really isn't good. That's the ability to play imported music from the Xbox hard drive is very important. There's only one bad side about it, you can only play one soundtrack at the time. Some people make a soundtrack for each band, so they can only play music from one band at the time.

Value

The game itself is very, very short. That's the worst thing about it. If I wanted too, I could have finish the Sega GT 20002 mode in about ten hours, maybe less than that. There's only 8 tracks, but personally, I like replaying them again and again. But even if you have cleared all the levels, it's still fun to play. You can try to buy all the cars and modify them to the maximum. You can also buy all the goods to have a better looking garage. You can also play Chronicle mode, but I'm not a big fan of this mode. There's also a replay editor that lets you modify your races replay with some effects. I won't tell you much about this one because I didn't use it

Overall

If you are the kind of person that is always playing with your friends, I strongly suggest you buy this game because it will give you multiple hours of fun. I also suggest you the game if you are a fan of old cars. You'll be pleased with cars like GT40 Concept, Chevelle and Charger. Two CDs are suppose to come out. The first is the online disk that will let you play online. The second one is an add-on CD with more cars and tracks.
