Agggggghhhhh Fuzion Frenzy, Non Stop Weird and crazy fun, Microsoft wanted a party game for launch and Blitz Games delivered. Fuzion Frenzy is from the off not necessarily the most graphically stunning Xbox game available in the first wave of titles but it is certainly a must have for every Xbox owner. This is the multi-player game of multi-player games, which you pick up and play with your friends or family when the time arises.

Fuzion Frenzy may not be, well in fact is not the greatest single player game that will grace the Xbox but where this game excels is in sheer multiplayer fun, Initially I was a little unimpressed with Fuzion Frenzy when I first saw this title at the Microsoft X01 event, I was left thinking what on earth was that all about, I then attended the Experience launch event where I was presented with a multi-player version which we simply played all night long, this title was now in my must own list.

Arriving with our Xbox console from Microsoft was to my joy a boxed copy of Fuzion Frenzy and the party began, There was 5 staff members all dying to get there grubby hands on the console and check out Halo, Project Gotham or Dead or Alive 3 and I go and place Fuzion frenzy in the Xbox to the sound of a background groan, 'What are you doing they asked?ö 'I replied it's party time!!!ö

Unfortunately initially we were only able to play 2 players as we only had 2 controllers, not a problem 'lets party I saidö and the fun began. The team here were simply engrossed and Ross & Dan began battle in a winner stays on type of affair we battled into the early hours where eventually Ross was crowed day 1 Xbox Fuzion Frenzy King!!! 'D'ohö Halo , Project Gotham, Dead or Alive 3 etc were now left for another day!

Ok, enough already, Fuzion Frenzy is a party game with 45 generally unique mini games you start by selecting a character, choose from 6 characters including Dub, Samson, Geena, Zak, Naomi and Jet, now it's time for battle to commence. Select from 2, 4 or 6 stages each stage is from different themed locations, which include Coliseum, Downtown, Outlands, Military Zone, Power Station and waterfront and away we go.

Each themed location competitors must compete in 3 random themed mini games followed by a Fuzion Frenzy round where players must grab coloured orbs and rush them to the goal to score, watch out though as other players can attack and steal your orbs. Basically the more orbs the higher the score carry more than one orb at a time an boost your score is an option but remember if attacked you loose the lot!

Before each mini-game commences you will be presented with mini-game guide which explains what controls do what for the particular mini-game this is a great feature as there is no need to learn any particular mini-game as they are all explained prior to commencing battle. The controls in Fuzion Frenzy are an area that the game excels in, Simple effective and accurate.

With so much going on at once with superb clear, crisp and colourful graphics throughout Fuzion Frenzy is a treat for every single Xbox owner. Ok this is not necessarily going to win any awards for best game, best graphics or best story but most playable and most fun Fuzion frenzy will be up there with the greats.

So with all this good there must be some bad? Well not really other than without friends or family to compete against Fuzion Frenzy offers very little in terms of gameplay. Simply it's not as fun trying to argue with the Xbox, as it is friends and family.

Overall Fuzion Frenzy must make it in to a must own title for all Xbox owners, with superb visuals and sound throughout. Although this might stay tucked away gathering dust when you're alone, you are almost certain to blow the dust off and have hours of fun with you're friends and family.
