Chase: Hollywood Stunt Driver is sadly a cheaper version of Stuntman on the PS2. Sure it has its pros, but is cons are in abundance. Anyway, the objective is to complete scenes by fulfilling various objectives. It is very repetitive. Pity really.
Gameplay: The vehicles have the handling characteristics of a milkfloat and are very dodgy to steer. The levels are ok i suppose but lack any real artistic flair. The game starts you off on with pants vehicles and very cliche levels. But they arent that bad. The levels are fun but not amazing, some objectives are hard but after 20 or so takes are reachable. To be honest you would be better off renting this game and having an entertaining evening rather than spending nearly fifty big ones on it. I can think of ten better games to spend your money on.
Graphics: The graphics do not represent the capabilities of the Xbox. This game could've been something but instead has 3rd rate graphics and is visually boring and for lack of a better word "pants". The vehicles are ok but arent realistic enough and the characters are of Sega Saturn quality. The levels are very basic and very small.
Sound: This soundtrack is pure cheese. I mean a full on low-tech very bad soundtrack. The SFX sound like they've been recorded by someone sitting n front of the TV with a microphone. It disgusts me that a publisher of this quality can make such a rubbish game with such poor sound. It sounds like it was made in a week.
Longevity: Very quick to complete. No way you can play the scenes again as they are sooo boring and pointless. No life really. Simple.
Round Up: Come on BAM! get your act together, pull your finger out etc etc. A very low quality game that was probably made in a week. To be fair, its a good job most shops have a ten day guarantee, because you can buy it, play it, loathe it, hate it and then take it back. You might aswell rent it, whatever you do, dont open your wallet and buy it, its just not worth it.
