Brute Force. A tactical, futuristic squad-based shooter from Digital Anvil. Taking command of a team of elite mercenary badasses, each having their own specialities, your missions will be shady and hush-hush affairs to say the least. Fortunately the action will not be so quiet.

Played from a third-person perspective you will have to employ cunning and stealth along with all-out 'Brute Force' to successfully complete your missions. Features: Four unique commandos to play: Tex, the cyborg-enhanced sniper. Hawk, the assault trooper. Flint, the importantly stealthly scout and the feral alien, Brutus giving you a wide range of tactics at your disposal and creating variety in the gameplay.

Guns, lots of guns: There will be a huge variety of human and non-human weapons at your disposal, not to mention a range of cool gasgetry. Each character will be qualified in certain weapon types such as miniguns, sonic cannons, flamethrowers and the powerful sounding psychic blasts. Gadgets include: stealth suits, infa-red goggles and weapon upgrades. Four unique worlds: Shadoon, the volcanic moon is a world filled with magma and psychically active religious cults.

Caspian, the desert world is similar to earth where outposts and colonies are located. The Feral Homeworld of Ferix is a giant marshy planet filled with swamps and extreme heat, and finally: Shrike, the shadow outpost. A barren landscape featuring a huge myriad of tunnels, also having a slightly poisonous atmosphere for humans. RPG style character progression: Your characters will become more powerful as the game progresses, opening up a wealth of choices on offer as to whether you go in all guns blazing and maybe risk losing a valuable team member or play it cool and stelathily.

Unique command control: Switch between your characters with the touch of a button and issue commands on the fly with a streamlined tactical interface. Brute Force sounds quite exciting, doesn't it? It has the basis of a good game and there is time left to refine the basics into what could turn out to be a great game. Keep your eye on this one as we bring you more details as we get them.
