Bounty Hunter, Set in a futuristic world where mercenary's are legal is the setting for this 3D action title currently in development by Warthog, Are you the Game Player ready for some low down dirty tricks and Mercenary action? "You had better be!!"
Warthog is a little known developer but with a history of Quality sine 1997, with titles such as 'Starlancer' (PC and Dreamcast), 'Star Trek: Invasion' (PlayStation) and 'Tom & Jerry' (PlayStation and Game Boy Color). The development team consist of many Ex Electronic Arts members who's goal is to become the best development only studio in the business.
In Bounty Hunter the player will take on the role of a wrongfully imprisoned Special-Ops officer named a "Ranger." The officer is then forced to break himself out of prison and bring down the people who framed you for killing your fellow officers.
In order to carry out your objective you must join a mercenary force which populates the galaxy, as a Bounty Hunter you can acquire information which will enable you to hunt down and bring down the people who sent you to Prison, and just for a little extra fun you can kick plenty of butt along the way.
Missions in the game will consist of the normal: Kill someone, Capture Him/Her, Go destroy Target etc etc but Bounty Hunter will also include story Driven missions which before you know it or could say "Uncle Sam" can change from good to bad or bad to good.
Players will have a vast array of weaponry from the traditional low-tech pistols to the high-tech gadgets that can make mincemeat out of an enemy in a single shot. Many of these foretold weapons are said, by the developer, to be "unique to this game."
The developers are not stopping there with the inclusion of the Revolutionary 'Tusk' 3D engine employs scene-graph principles that allow movement within and between different types of environments "currently impossible in other games". A High level of visual effects, lighting and sound, utilizing high-spec future target platform and seamless combat transitions between first person combat and space dogfighting.
