Blood Wake: Fast boats with big guns and that is just the start, in Blood Wake players take up the challenge of being in charge of an outlaw band of Pirates. As Pirates your goal and objective is to overthrow a militant regime that has gained a foothold within your turf, and restore your land to order. Let Battle Commence: Blood Wake features some of the very best water and wave effects that have ever been seen on any format before and give players the choice from ten different kinds of powerful gunboats.
Catamarans, Torpedo Boats, Sampans, Devil Boats and more allow for a variety of combat experiences. Each boat has a personal array of powerful weapons. Chain guns, cannons, rockets, torpedoes, mines, etc. OK sound familiar ? yeh I guess "Twisted Metal" but on water !!!! Blood Wake will take the genre further than before and offer up to 4 player split screen mode utilizing the shear muscle of the XBox to power all the on-screen action.
Blood Wake will feature over 25 single player story-based missions which will be set in a variety of stunningly created environments, which will include: Open Ocean, Island Groups, Sheltered Bays, Rivers and Deep canyons. The game also features some pretty stunning weather effects including the normal Storms, Typhoons Sunny etc every day stuff really. The general game will take place over nine different types of missions. Including attack ship, defend ship/escort, attack building, recon and more.
Naturalistic artificial intelligence. Smart enemies and teammates that react according to the battle situation. Add in to the mix the super realistic water physics and effects. The whole game experience is set to be cracking. With stunning water water spray from the boats and the rolling and crashing waves Blood Wake looks set to be a gem on the First Truly Next Gen Console called the XBox.
