In a recent interview with Eurogamer, Xbox developer Climax has revealed some of their plans for the Xbox console. The company is building a brand new next-generation racing engine called the "Motorsports Engine" which is already running on the PS2, Xbox, Gamecube and PC. "On the Xbox you get four passes at texturing, which is pretty cool - there's a lot you can do with that, but you'll have to wait and see!" said Climax's Tony Beckwith.

As for specific games, the company revealed that they are working on 2 Xbox racing titles. One is a rally racing game for the PS2 and Xbox, and the other is a motorbike racing title being made exclusively for the Xbox.
