Konami of America, have revealed that in October 2002, gamers will bundle up and rocket their way across the treacherous trails as Evolution Snocross blasts onto the PlayStation 2® computer entertainment system, Xbox™ video game console from Microsoft and PC.
With the flip of a switch it's time to get ready for high-speed snowmobile racing in unpredictable weather conditions and some of the harshest terrain imaginable. In Evolution Snocross, riders must brace themselves for big jumps, tight turns and fender-banging action as they perform big air tricks and jockey for position against other riders. The jumps are huge and the turns are tight as riders eat up the snow and speed towards the finish line.
The heart-pounding action begins as players jump into the boots of 14 different riders and 12 powerful sleds -- each with a variety of upgrades available. Bringing the action to life, players can choose from among 5 different play modes including Multiplayer, Career, Arcade, Quick-play, and Practice. Once players are all geared-up and ready to go, they will race at blazing speeds and attempt to pull off over 40 breathtaking tricks.
Featuring levels full of hidden short cuts, interactive environments, destructible elements and other variables that affect gameplay, players will enjoy hours of fun-filled racing in solo or against friends in multi-player modes.
