According to one source, Microsoft has revised its rules for Xbox 360 gamer points, allowing developers to provide more than 1000 points for a single game. Where previously 1000 points was the upper limit, developers can now include a further 250 points via downloadable content. Xbox Live Arcade games have also been given a boost allowing a further 50 points over the standard 200. Either way this is great news for achievement hunters but bad news in some ways especially if the downloadable content, which has the added achievements, attached is not free.
