Six weeks ago Gears of War hit stores and only days later it was announced that it had sold over a million copies, well now Epic have stated that their highly acclaimed Gears of War has sold over 2 million copies making it the fastest selling next-gen title of 2006. It was also recently reported that since its release gold subscriptions to Xbox Live have gone up 50%. Epic also said they would like to release a patch before Christmas and some gamers believe downloadable content may also be planned before Christmas as well.
