Following the recent rumors concerning the xbox2 and the ongoing will it or won’t it come with a hard drive it now appears that the previously rumored M-System Flash cards memory will replace the Hard Drive in xbox2.

In an interview posted on Globes
Online
M-System president Dov Moran confirms that the flash cards provided by M-System will be the new and only solution for saving emails, game saves, music and downloadable content etc, in the interview Mr Moran stated:

"Microsoft has taken the hard disk out of its Xbox. The only thing left will be a CD; that’s all. At some point, when users want to save their e-mail messages, copy music, or anything like that, the only storage they’ll have is what we give them."

Another interesting part of the interview was when Mr Moran stated they would start supplying Microsoft the Flash Cards in 2005 which can only fuel the will it launch in 2005 or 2006 fire further, we’ll keep you posted!
