Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. announced today its financial results for its fourth quarter and fiscal year ended October 31, 2003.
The company reported $278.5 million net sales for the fourth quarter ended October 31, 2003 were, a 28% increase over the same period a year ago. Net income for the quarter of $26.6 million represented an increase of 19% compared to last year. Net sales for the fiscal year ended Oct 31, 2003 were $1.04 billion, a 31% increase over $795.0 million in fiscal 2002.
Take-Two also announced several new games and confirmed previously announced games. To streamline its publishing operations, the company has reorganized and consolidated its publishing business into the following three labels: Rockstar Games, Gathering and Global Star, with Gotham Games label being phased out.
Manhunt
Take Two confirmed the Xbox version of Manhunt is in the works. Further details were not revealed.
Red Dead Revolver
Take Two announced Red Dead Revolver from Rockstar San Diego, the developers of Rockstar Games' Midnight Club and Smuggler's Run franchises. Red Dead Revolver is a stylish, western themed, gun-fighting extravaganza intended for release on the Xbox and PS2 in the second fiscal quarter.
TDK Franchises
Titles planned for release under the Gathering label from TDK's portfolio include Robotech and Spy vs Spy. Additionally, Global Star will release Corvette.
