Now take this quite lightly UK residents as there's no solid picture proof or anything, but a HotUKDeals member Merson316, who claims to work for UK supermarket Sainsbury's has said the giant supermarket chain will be selling this years biggest game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 for a stunningly cheap £26.



"I can finally confirm that Sainsbury's will be offering MW2 for £26. After looking on our stock tracker it is now showing as £26 with no stock in any store yet. I also don't know how long this deal is but im expecting it to be release day only! I cannot prove this with a picture but I have seen it with my own eyes. So its up to you to believe it or not! I am a Sainsbury's employee and have worked there for over 3 years. Any other employees can check there RSS systems to back me up if they so wish." said Merson316.

The member didn't reveal what platform Modern Warfare 2 would be available for £26 on but we look forward to seeing if any truth comes from this so keep your eyes peeled.

Yeah I read that a little while ago as well, it's also worth noting the release date in that image, which states Nov 9th. It seems odd with both the pricing and date, which kind of makes me think this is how much Sainsbury's pay for their stock and when they expect to receive it themselves. Though I figure I could be wrong, you'd think the Sainsbury's employee would probably know the difference anyway. It's got to be worth a call on the 9th/10th though.

Confirmed at £26 for Tuesday, just got off the phone with my nearest store. Annoyingly they will not reserve.
