there is apparently also stunt type missions where you jump a car through a hoop, will you be adding the locations of these?

my best advice is to simply visit each location on the map and check them off until you find it. Surely it will take no more than 10-15 mins to visit them all?

I can confirm that all the race locations are correct. Look again it's there somewhere.

The one by the coast on the north eastern part of the southern island is next to the Royal Vista and nightclub. It's the La Mugra coast race

The La Mugre Skyline rooftop race changed locations: It's now right north or the social security & welfare supply point. Travel there and go north, just past the freeway. You'll see a ramp trailer parked below a Wired X billboard. The road race should be nearby.

If you still have problems, tell me, so I can look for my camera and post you a pic.

All other Rooftop Races are correct according to the diagram.

I'm having trouble with The Alleys of the Den Race in 1:40. anyone have any tips?

I have a four star driving skill and right now I wish I didn't. my SUV is too big to fit in the small cave in this race, and supercar does bad jumps and is so big it hits all the walls, and normal cars will blow up before I even get half way through!
why 1:40! it's so impossible

Heres the tip. I got 1 min 38 seconds.

Before you start the race park the agency supercar on the other side of the barriers which block the path early on in the race.

Go to start of race and grab one of the two parked sports cars.

Start Race

when you get to barriers simply hop out and jump into supercar and carry on.

There's a section where its pretty narrow later on in the race after the tunnel. steer to the right hand side of the pillar that blocks the path to be able to squeeze through.

You do need to run pretty much a perfect lap so when approaching tight spaces such as the tunnel remember to slow down first.

Hope this helps.

Yeah this race was evil, really unless it's night I don't see how you can come anywhere close. I consistently ran 2:15-2:20's during the day cycles which is a bit over the 1:40 mark. During the night phase I managed to score some 1:50's and missed the mark of 1:40 a few times by something as minor as 1:41:40 which made this race unfun. I've never managed to do this race with the agency vehicles, or even needed them after figuring out the best method for me. There is 1 two door sports car that is the car you want to do this race, sadly these cars tend to last you 1 attempt. So many civilians even at night including a few minor jumps really tear these cars down, but once you score a time in under 1:50 you will know the car you need. It fits through those yellow cement barricades fine which is great, as well as fits in the tunnel perfectly. Also when you hit the jump at the beginning you will nail a stunt marker, if you don't get enough airtime for that and need to pick up your car just to get over the first wall the race is over before it starts. Cancel and try again.

I finished Alley of the Den in 1:32 using the Acengy Supercar level 4. The key for me was placing a ramp truck just before the yellow cement barricades so you can fly over them during the race. The only other key is to learn the course and slow down during the difficult turns.

I'm having so much fun messing around in Crackdown I've barely bothered with races tongue.gif

This will definately come in handy when I get around to doing races, preferably without enemies wink.gif

Ive been completing the rooftop races tonight and I cannot seem to figure out the "goin home race" on los muertos. once i get the marker in the agency the next one is right above it. whenever i leave the agency (through the tunnels) i get the 30 second timer and cannot get the checkpoint in time. could someone please help me with this?

by the way, just joined, VERY nice place.

you mean the marker in the round-about type area where you get agency vehicles, right? there should be an opening right above it that you can jump through to get outside. theres even a "ladder" right on that wall you can use if your agi is low.

once you get within the agency walls, you dont leave (until the race is over of course)

Thank you so much for this tip, I had tried the method of using multiple cars but this idea was the winner! So simple yet I hadent thought of it......
