Achieved 1000 Gamerpoints - Soul Calibur IV Achieved 1000 Gamerpoints - Too Human

According to one source, Microsoft has revised its rules for Xbox 360 gamer points, allowing developers to provide more than 1000 points for a single game. Where previously 1000 points was the upper limit, developers can now include a further 250 points via downloadable content. Xbox Live Arcade games have also been given a boost allowing a further 50 points over the standard 200. Either way this is great news for achievement hunters but bad news in some ways especially if the downloadable content, which has the added achievements, attached is not free.

I like that this makes them not have to plan ahead for achievements from downloadable content but i think this is just a method to get more people to actually get the new downloads.

yea the thing is is now some games are now allowed to not have quite 1000 points... but their downloadable content has to add up to it. On the plus side that content also has to be free.

for example, crackdown will have only 900 points in the full game. Later on it will have the extra 100 reserved for some downloadable content.
