Burger King Holdings Inc. have just announced that they have received a better-then-expected 40% rise in quarterly profit as a new, lower-priced menu and an Xbox 360 video game promotion increased sales in the United States. Whilst you might not give a damn about the finances of the fast food giant, it is interesting to note that the profit increase can be apportioned, partially to the Xbox 360 promotion. We guess this perpetuates the myth that fast food and gaming go hand in hand. Ahem!
