I'm don't know about you, but I've come across some truly terrible flicks in my time, and although I'm not a huge film watcher there have been quite a few disasters that have some how made it to TV and even cinema.
Looking back, some of these films I remember them being rather entertaining, and then going back and seeing them out of curiosity, I realise it was mostly for the humour factor with or without intention. Just a few I can name; Street Fighter - not the most recent apparent terrible game adaptation, but the original take. The one with Kylie Minogue and the notorious Jean Claude Van Damne. This was just parody, it had to be in every way and form. To even attempt at turning a fighting game into some sort of tangible movie can only result in trouble, and this was a good example of that. Blade: Trinity - Not necessarily the most terrible film I've witnessed, but probably one of the most disappointing for me seeing as I was a huge fan of Blade and Wesley Snipes's portrayal of the character. The two new characters ruined his image as the lone soldier, tough fighter he came across as, and ruined the films reputation for its half decent fighting scenes and at least mediocre acting performances. There's a couple of mine, I imagine others could name a fair few more with their reasons, and I can only expect a few game movies to pop up seeing as they tend to be the worst. So, what are your worst and/or most disappointing movies you have seen? -------------------- LeeMan's Game Relative

Resident Evil - just didn't capture the games too well and Alice was not Jill or Claire. The animated version was so much better.
FF: The Spirits Within was dull and lifeless. It was more a showcase for CGI which was a shame. --------------------

I quite liked the Oceans films
My biggest dissapointment was Apocalypse Now - I was expecting a Platoon style film, or Saving Private Ryan in Vietnam... but it was just such a let down, I may need to watch it again as it was the 3.5 hour Redux version, but still, i couldn't believe it was #35 on IMDb And Pan's Labyrinth... awful... -------------------- ![]() |

QUOTE Ocean's 12. Left the theater halfway through. I don't think Ocean's 12 was terrible, I thought it was very mediocre and unsurprising. Unless it was disappointing to you in comparison to the first film. And Pan's Labyrinth, isn't that a film by Guillermo Del Toro... you really have to have an exquisite taste for his films, he relies on art and extravagant visuals rather than acceptable scripts and decent acting. Oh, and he's directing the Hobbit. -------------------- LeeMan's Game Relative

DBZ Evolution really really boring Haha, I watched that with my little sister on a long flight home from Copenhagen this summer. Not a big DBZ fan but I can see every DBZ fan walking out of the theater with a frown on their face. -------------------- |
