Finally! I have pwned CoD4 and gotten all of the achievements =D. Now hurry up and fix the awards system thingy ma bob, Rob! I want this to be forever a part of my profile! =P

IT took ages and some things along the way like ... well infact I was going to say some of the veteran levels gave me hell and some other achievements did aswell; however it was ALL of the veteran levels that gave me hell! XD especially NF in the WR and Mile High Club. Plus that annoying TV achievement that has the juggernaut TV at the end sleep.gif . But I finally did it! =D =D =D =D =D

Congratulations. Beating CoD on Veteran is definitely something to feel good about. Beating Mile High Club on Veteran allows your heart to beat at a regular pace once again. Now you can go onto MW2 and play 7 or so Mile High Club's in SpecOps mode, HORRAY! I am really excited about SpecOps, especially because it is coop.

I still cant believe the stuff about MW2 being 45 quid just because they know everyone will buy it.

ITS AN OUTRAGE!

After a quick google search to convert currency I see that 45 quid is more than a normal game would cost, which sucks.

I remember back in the days of Xbox when new games were $50, now they're $60 and I am certain next gen games will be $70, especially if were already seeing that price for MW2

Cheers to you mate, I'm still stuck in Tsjernobyl sad.gif. Still I don't feel bad, like you I have more games in which I have the 1000 points. But it's still completely pointless as nothing is really gained from the achievements, yet......

Yeah it felt good alright but I actually found the main campaign itself got my blood pressure into a more dangerous situation. Mile High Club seems tame after the first completion =P. I'm hoping to get 1000 on MW2 aswell cause that would just be L33T wink.gif. Some multiplayer achievements, another "mile high club" style mission and a storyline as good as the one in CoD4 and this game is guaranteed that dusty spot on my shelf were were halo 3 used to be =).

Wish I had the patience and willpower to go back to games I have completed and do that. Maybe it's my lack of care for achievements, but I always feel it's a trivial reason to spend another 4-5 hours playing a game for. Yet without the achievements, the game feels incomplete, a vicious circle.

oh, and Ads, great avatar pic.

I am too fearful that i will complete a game too quickly therefore wasting money, so i tend to leave achievements and come back to them so i get more out of the game.

This is true, but I find it a good incentive to get the most out of the game, as I always enjoyed pre-gamerpoints games that had a percentage complete on it so I could try and 100% it, and I only tend to look for achievements in the games that I really liked - for example Gears of War 2 and Pro Evo 9 are going to be left in their boxes now most probably, despite barely having any GPs
