Story

Offering a new adventure specifically designed to extend the Tomb Raider: Underworld experience, Tomb Raider: Underworld – Beneath the Ashes sends Lara back to the remains of Croft Manor where she uncovers a massive series of never-before-seen caverns and age old crypts used by her father to protect and hide a deadly source of power. In addition to an entirely new area to explore, the pack will also contain six new costumes and deliver an additional 125 achievement points.

TREASURES/RELIC LOCATIONS


There are a total of 28 treasures and 1 relic to hunt down.


1. As soon as the mission starts there's a pot on your right.

2. After you have swung across the broken bridge and killed the enemy here, there is a pot on the right next to the wall.

3. On the left hand side you can climb up and mount the beams that lead towards the way you came from. There is a treasure here.

4. Once you've swung across to the right of the collapsed bridge you'll enter a tunnel and then a watery area. The treasure is on the ground in the water.

5. The next one is somewhat tricky, you need to pull the switch on the right first (pause for a sec) and then the switch on the left (as if you're facing the wall rather than the way you came in). Now jump down and climb up when you reach the upper most bar on the opposite side of where you can see the treasure, wait for the gate to lower before jumping across. This is basically the opposite way to where you would go normally. The treasure is in the small tunnel.

6. As you drop down into the water. Swim to the right and you'll see the treasure on the floor under the water between two pillars.

7. Shoot the chain link under the water to raise the wooden platform, then mount it, and use your grapple on hook. Pull the platform so you can climb the pillar. At the top of pillar jump to left and there will be a pot with a treasure inside by the iron gate.

8. As you navigate the waterwheel you'll see a grapple hook on the opposite wall and a circular hole beneath it. Simply jump and use the grapple to latch on, then swing into the hole to grab the treasure.

9. Once you've opened the underwater gate and swam through, if you swim upwards and to your right, you'll see an alcove with destroyed bars with the a treasure.

10. Once you've surfaced from the long underwater tunnel. Get some air and then dive down again, you'll see the treasure on the side of the circular entrance in the corner.

11. In the room with the pole. Climb the the pole and turn around to face the large cobweb, a closed gate and a pot - the pot contains a treasure.

12. As you navigate two large rooms, you'll enter an area where you can climb another pole. You can jump into the entrance fight some spiders and you'll eventually see a pot with another treasure inside.

13. From the same pole room as above climb the pole and then jump against the wall and grab a pole that's attached to the wall. From here you'll be able to jump and grapple hook, to reach the opening. Once navigated you'll enter a stone staircase that leads upwards. Follow the path until you reach the top of the stairs. On your right through the arch is a pot and a treasure.

14. You'll meet some bothersome bats in the stair area as you navigate to the next flight of stairs leading up. Before heading upwards jump onto the pole and slide down. In this area on the ground next to the small pole is a pot with a treasure.

15. There is a another treasure on the ground in an small archway next to one of the other poles in the same area.

16. After you navigate the corridors with the spear traps you'll enter an open area with a circular column in the middle. Drop down to find a pot with a treasure on the ground right next to the central column.

17. In the same area there is an archway on the ground with another pot containing a treasure.

18. Once you've climbed up the central column in the same area as above there is a ledge with two movable switches which can be pulled together using the grapple. Next to these is a pot containing treasure.

19. Once you've gotten the circular column to rotate, climb up it and grab onto the pole. From the pole jump to the ledge where there is another treasure - watch out for Mr. Spider.

20. Once you navigate the column room you'll jump onto an open metal gate, which leads to an area where you can swing across to a ledge and navigate to a pole. There is a treasure on a ledge to your right.

21& 22. Climb down the pole and you'll find another two pots on the ground which contain treasures.


You'll enter a room filled with water that has a pole and a fence nearby. The pole is used to jump over the fence. Before you do this. Climb the pole, turn around and jump to the ledge that leads to the hand grips up the wall. Follow the grips to an alcove that contains the treasure.

24. Now go back and go the other way and use the other grips to do the dragon puzzle ( simply move the three images in the correct slots - use the statues and the grapple to move them into the correct positions) Once completed drop down and climb the submerged pole near an exit and jump up to the pole that sticks out the wall. Swing and the grapple the hook so you can climb up and swing to reach the platform that has a pot on it. Another treasure is inside.

25. From the location above jump onto the pole in the next room and drop down to enter the enclosed area. The climb the smaller pole to reach the furthest platform which contains a treasure.

In the same area above there is a small tunnel. Go through and swim then climb up on to one of the ledges. You'll see the RELIC opposite. Just jump across to grab it.

26. There is a guillotine which can be climbed at the waters edge near the first rotating column that rises out of the water after you completed the dragon puzzle. Climb onto the nearby ledge and jump off to the left and grapple the hook. Now adjust height and the swing to reach the grips. Climb up to reach a treasure.

27. Climb the guillotine again, but this time jump the ledge and go to the right and work your way to the very top of the 2nd rotating pillar. Once on top jump off to reach treasure you saw when doing the dragon puzzle.

If you jump over the fence using the grapple from the top of the second rotating pillar you'll finish the level and wont be able to go back if you missed one.

28. From the top of the rotating column grapple, but do not jump the fence. turn to right and you'll see a hole in the wall. Swing over and jump and grab the ledge, there is the final treasure inside.




GAME WALKTHROUGH


1. After cutscene collect treasure 1 jump across the gap and immediately jump and grapple to avoid falling debris. Then swing across and kill spider collect treasure 2.

2. Collect treasure 3 drop down and Jump and grapple the nearby hook and then turn around and swing to the ledge on your right side.

3. Wall jump up and enter the small tunnel. Collect treasure 4.

4. Wall jump up the opposite side and then activate the two switches. DO THE RIGHT SWITCH FIRST (when facing the dead-end) then pause one second then do the left switch. Drop down and climb up the ledges then wait for the gate to drop and you should grip the ledge where there is a treasure 5. Now jump jump across to the other side and enter the tunnel.

5. Now you'll enter the waterwheel room. Drop down into the water collect treasure 6 and shoot the chain that holds the wooden platform.

6. Climb on platform and then use the grapple to pull you and the platform towards the pillar that has the grips. Climb on the grips and go to the left to grab treasure 7. The jump back and climb up the grips and ledges on the side of wheel and then jump towards the ring that is opposite, grapple and the swing into the hole to grab treasure 8. Now drop back into the water and climb up again. Once you reach the furthest ledge you need to jump across to where there's a ledge and a grapple ring. Grapple down and swing onto the lower platform. Jump onto the nearby metal bar to open the underwater gate.

7. Swim through and collect treasure 9. When you surface go back and collect treasure 10. Follow the path and in the room with the pole collect treasure 11.

8. Upon exiting you'll see a cutscene of an enemy simply follow the only path possible. Use the grapple on the ring and drop down into the open area. Ignore this room for now. Go through the archway and into the next room.

9. Climb the pole and then jump against the wall and grab a pole that's attached to the wall. Stand on pole rather than swing and you'll be able to jump and grapple hook, to reach the opening. Once navigated you'll enter a stone staircase that leads upwards. Follow the path until you reach the top of the stairs. On your right through the arch is a pot and treasure 13.

In this area on the ground next to the small pole to find treasure 14 and 15. Climb back up the pole and jump to the exit. You'll then face an area with spear traps Wall jump to reach the pole in the wall and time your swings to get through here.

11. You'll come to a large room withe the wheel mechanism inactive. Drop to the ground and collect treasures 16 and 17. Climb the only other climbable wall and use the grapple on the ring. Swing across to the wall grips. From platform jump onto the right side of the column and shimmy left. Now climb up. Grab treasure 18.

12. This puzzle requires you to pull the two bits of wood together. To do this just grapple one and wrap the wire around the other and then pull in using the Y button. Now head to the right inside the now open entrance which leads back into the wheel room

13. Jump forwards and use grapple on ring. pull yourself up and swing onto the broken wooden ledge. Walk along the protruding wood and jump towards the wobbly bar that's opposite the wheel. If you fail simply grenade yourself and try again. When you grab the bar you'll release the water. Drop into water and now climb up the wheel again, but head to the opening on the left where you found treasure 7.

14. You need to now climb up the rotating column and head clockwise. to reach a pole you can grab onto. Jump across from pole to reach treasure 19. Now jump onto the beams to reach the swung open gate. Jump on this to exit room.

15. You'll come to another area with poles and where you can swing across. grab treasure 20. and then go down pole to grab treasure 21 & 22. Climb back up and shimmy across.

16. You'll reach another spear trap. Use the Grapple on ring to reach the poles and repeat the same action as before. You'll then enter the same area at the beginning which is now flooded.

17. You'll enter a room filled with water that has a pole and a fence nearby. The pole is used to jump over the fence. Before you do this. Climb the pole, turn around and jump to the ledge that leads to the hand grips up the wall. Follow the grips to an alcove that contains the treasure 23.

18. Drop down and jump onto the same pole and this time jump to the other protruding wood to reach the wall grips. Shimmy right until you reach ladder, climb up and you'll be at the dragon puzzle.

-stand on the body panel and grapple the ring and press Y to pull you closer. Do the same with the tail piece
-Grapple ring and then move around the right side statue clockwise. So the wire goes behind it. Now stand on the head piece and pull.

-Grapple again and then wrap the wire around the central statue (going behind it) and then stand on the tail piece. Now pull to move it.

- Grapple again and then move anti clockwise around the left statue and pull the piece to the left.

- Grapple again and wrap wire around the central statue and pull in the body piece. Once they are all locked in place. You'll now be able to grapple the last dragon statue and pull it towards you. This raises and rotates the columns in the water.

19. Once dragon puzzle is complete go back to where there is a submerged pole and jump up onto the pole in wall again and swing up to the other ledge to reach treasure 24. From there enter the enclosed room to grab treasure 25 and the relic. Now go back to the dragon statues. grapple the main dragon and drop down the side on the left to swing onto the wood the protrudes from the wall. Here jump onto the first rotating column.

20. Climb up to the highest point on the column and then wait until your back is facing the ring on the far wall opposite the dragons. Jump and grapple the ring, this action will knock a platform above the guillotine. Now swing left to reach the wall grips and treasure 26.

21. Now swim in the water and climb up where the guillotine platform is and shimmy right to reach the other rotating column, climb to top and jump down to reach treasure 27. NOTE SAVE GAME IF YOU STILL WANT TO LOOK FOR MISSED TREASURES. Now climb back to top and swing over to right to collect treasure 28, then swing over the fence. Simply hit all the switches whist killing the enemies and once all four switches are done go through opened gate and you'll complete the level.

How long would it take to complete the game

Well that depends on how you play but I would say an average of 3 hours if you manage to collect everything in the one play and without using a guide (maybe longer). As I posted in my review, I beat the game in a speed run around 30 mins - but that's with the knowledge of knowing what to do.

Thanks to the OP, i'm pretty sure this is gonna save me some headaches
