Xbox LIVE Event: Call of Duty 4, Dust settled, results posted. Options

First of all, I'd like to say thanks for taking the time out of blasting away people in ranked matches and instead opting to demolish us in these custom games. We certainly had an eventful evening and was certainly a bit more chaotic than I am used to, thankfully it was more like organised chaos having Lee and Crimsonslam aboard this time. Hopefully you had as good a time as the rest of us did, and be sure to keep your eyes peeled as we will make a further announcement soon with regard to our next Xbox LIVE Gaming Event.

One of the mystery prizes will be awarded to MadAd who came in the #1 position the most times throughout the entirety of all matches. The mystery prizes which are now revealed are in-fact 3 Activision published Xbox 360 games. MadAd may choose 1 of 3 Xbox 360 games and choose 2 of 16 Xbox original games (*as well as receive 1 random Xbox game as he also completed one of our mystery kills as mentioned further below).

MadAd: Please Choose 1 of 3 of the following Xbox 30 titles:
Tony Hawk's Proving Ground, Soldier of Fortune or World Series of Poker: Tournament of Champions.

MadAd: Please Choose 2 of the 16 of the following original Xbox titles to complete your prize.
NOTE: Games that are boldened are backwards compatible and playable on Xbox 360 (requires Hard Drive).
Shrek Super slam, Pro BMX 2, Wrath Unleashed, True Crime NYC, Over the Hedge, GUN, Greg Hastings Paintball, Star Wars Battlefront, Tony Hawks American Wasteland, Star Wars: Battlefront II, Spiderman 2, Xmen Legends, Cabelas Dangerous Hunts, COD 2: Big Red One, Doom III: Resurrection of Evil, Fantastic 4.

The 2nd Activision Xbox 360 title is awarded to forum member Loaded1001 for being the most consistent player in all games. This basically means he appeared in the top three positions more than anyone else (except for the 1st place position). For his efforts he may choose 1 of the 2 remaining Xbox 360 titles, he may also choose 1 original Xbox game, obviously after MadAd has chosen, thus completing his earned prize.

The remaining Xbox 360 title will then be awarded to Smiffyboy90 of which he grasped the most kills in our final match of the evening. That being all participants vs. the three of us, myself, LeeMan and Crimsonslam (we STILL won by the way ). There was only really one small catch though, our vocal and loyal members were only allowed to use pistols, their trusty combat knife and grenades (lots of grenades). Oh, and perhaps to their dismay the legendary Crimsonslam accidentally slipped on Friendly Fire before starting the game.

Before our final match as mentioned above, we also did another match where our members took on us staff members directly yet again, each vying for the top 4 positions which would guarantee them an Xbox original prize.

*The players who managed this (no easy feat obviously against us...) are listed in order of dominance and will each receive at least 1 random original Xbox game.
The winners are: Smiffyboy90(+ True Crime NYC), OutlawConner (+ True Crime NYC), *MadAd and Rikoshay.
(I have only just realised as of typing this that we actually have 3 of the same game available with True Crime NYC, so 2 of these are marked above and are there for that reason.)

Many of the Xbox original titles were left for mystery kills on us staff members. When we felt the need to be more direct in our approach we occasionally announced the odd required kill in-game during Free for All matches, which soon got everyone running around in a mad frenzy to score the first kill on one of us staff members. A quick example of these required kills ranged from the likes of snipe a staff member, knife kill a staff member, chopper kills, airstrikes etc.

The players who completed these tasks have each snagged themselves a randomly rewarded original Xbox game(s), these are the following winning forum members: Makela, FACE, Loaded1001, OutlawConner, marcofarlio(x2 Xbox games) and xtomox,

Claiming Prizes:

If you see your name above as a winning participant then you need to send an email with your name and address, and mark the emails subject line as: MSXBOX Prize Winner.

Please be patient as not all prizes may be sent out straight away, allow at least 30 days for delivery.

It's so nice we just had to do it twice. That's right, the MSXbox-World Gaming Night theme is back and this time were once again on the recently crowned Xbox LIVE No. 1 title from Activision, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. I'm sure some of you will be pleased to know that you could be rewarded for the chaos that will soon take place, as Activison have kindly provided MSXBOX-WORLD with a plethora of gaming prizes. These will be rewarded to you lucky buggers based on the events that take place during our gaming time on Call of Duty 4 on Saturday March 22nd 2008.

Please note: To save any confusion anyone who wants to participate and compete in the LIVE event, must post here before the end of Wednesday the 19th of March. I'm sure some of you remember the last minute people who joined during the previous Halo 3 Gamer's Night, which caused some last minute headaches. We obviously welcome new members, and of course more competition during games. We currently have 2 weeks to go now, which gives everyone plenty of time to post their interest in competing.

It shouldn't be a problem mate, I'm sure they can find a moment to just post and say "meh" or something in here. There's plenty of time yet.

I hope this turns out as good, if not better than the last COD4 gaming night. I think that was easily our best yet, and certainly the most fun I've had on COD4 to date. I just need to try and tear myself away from Gears PC for a while to get back into COD4 again. I had a few games earlier on COD4, and I'm really rubbish, much more so than before. Time for some practice sessions this upcoming week I think.

Yay, ive been waiting for this and cant wait now that ive read it. I was reading in the GTA4 thread when i noticed this slick sig but it was an advert for the event I was so happy. We could really do with him posting, if anything just to keep it fair if he wants to play. Obviously if we happen to get people posting on here, then it will likely be first come first serve based on stating your interest, as opposed to just jumping in.

(I have a mate who is the same way actually, I don't see there being any harm in someone else creating the account for him and giving him the details to sign in and post.)

Gametypes should be ; Team Deathmatch, Headquarters, Domination, Sabotage.
Hardcore gametypes should also be a option if ppl are brave enough.

Start time should be 6pm / 7pm.

Campers beware : in my opinion it ruinins the games , its talentless/ lack of skill.. Plus your scenery never changes lol. might aswell set up a picnic with teas n scones lol...

Snipers r faggs who cant handle the closequater battles. I will giv a sniper credit only if they have found a spot whre it is very hard to find / spot them, but still u rarely see that.

LOL...but as they say, if it's in the game, then it's fair game. As a skilled player, you need to be adaptable and flush out the campers.
