There are 3 out of a maximum of 30 BSAA emblems to collect in chapter 1 of which collection helps unlock more items under Bonus Features. You are able to replay a level at any time, shoot one and then exit and it will record that you have collected the emblem, you do not need to reach a check point.
BSAA EMBLEMS
1. As you move through the district you'll come to a building with a staircase leading up to a door which is locked from the inside. There are two shade/umbrellas and if you stand near top of the stairs and look beyond the wall facing towards the SE You'll see the emblem on the wall of the building opposite up high.
2. After you kill the blond woman and enter the next area, you'll navigate a dark area. Once you head up the stairs and into a room which has no roof, look up to the water tower.(just before the cuts-scene with the dead soldiers) You can go back after it's triggered.
3. After you beat the furnace boss - go through door that requires the furnace key and you'll come to a case with ammo if you look through the fence on its left you'll see the emblem.
TREASURES
There are 4 of the treasures you need to collect in chapter 1 of which collection helps gain valuable funds required for upgrades and purchasing new weapons. You are able to replay a level at any time, collect and then exit and it will record that you have collected the treasure as long as you save game when you exit, and have reached a check point.
Topaz (Marquis) - Chapter 1-1 - After you jump out of the Window take out all the Majini you normally run away from. One of them will drop it. There are a lot of them, so be patient.
Gold Ring - Chapter 1-1/Multiple Places - Kill The Executioner at the end of chapter 1-1 for the earliest one.
Antique Clock - Chapter 1-2 - Out on the balcony of the house that is locked from the inside.
Ivory Relief - chapter 1-2 - Dropped by the blonde woman whose aid you come to.
